![]() ![]() #Use diffmerge at command line full#I assume that the path is used in relation anycodings_git to where my command line is currently at, anycodings_git which would be my repository.Īlso note that if I specify the full and anycodings_git exact path to bcomp.exe it works nicely: Ĭmd = 'C:/Users/MY-USERNAME/Dropbox/Tools/Beyond Compare 4/BComp.exe' \"$LOCAL\" \"$REMOTE\" at a time anycodings_git and retrying but get the same error in each anycodings_git case so the path isn't relative to mingw64 anycodings_git or the git directory either. Then Beyond Compare starts so I guess the anycodings_git relative path is correct in relation to the anycodings_git gitconfig/etc. If I place myself in the etc directory on anycodings_git the command line and issue this command: ".\.\.\Beyond Compare 4\bcomp.exe" /Beyond Compare 4/BComp.exe: No such file or directoryįatal: external diff died, stopping at test.txt mingw64/libexec/git-core/git-mergetool-lib: line 124. ![]() Here's what I tried adding to the gitconfig anycodings_git file: Ĭmd = './././Beyond Compare 4/BComp.exe' \"$LOCAL\" \"$REMOTE\"īut this is the output when I try to use it: D:\Temp> git difftool test.txt This is on Windows 10, I assume it might anycodings_git matter. However, the exact place for this dropbox anycodings_git folder on my computers differ due to some anycodings_git policies so I am trying to convince anycodings_git gitconfig to use a relative path to my anycodings_git Beyond Compare tools. I have set up a dropbox folder with Git anycodings_git command line tools in a portable fashion and anycodings_git in the same dropbox folder structure I also anycodings_git have Beyond Compare 4 which I like to use anycodings_git for diff/merge. ![]()
